AEI scores at Australian NationalsAustralia has just celebrated its 15th Annual National Show and Sale last weekend in Canberra. Principal studs of AEI, Illawarra and Coolaroo Alpaca Studs, collected three first places and a second in the led classes, and a Champion and Reserve Champion in the fleece classes. The sale which followed the auction saw an 80% clearance, averaging $21,542 per alpaca, with a top price of $56,000 for a fawn female. Four of the sale alpacas have been sent to the United Kingdom.
